The Indoor Pool

Heated,indoors,openyear-round.

A warm indoor pool with Jacuzzi jets, the most popular room in the house early in the morning and late at night. Stone-lined and quiet, kept warm whatever the season does outside. Towels are by the door; come down in a robe.

Spa & Wellness

ArrangedwithSantoriniZenSpa.

We do not run a spa of our own. We would rather point you to people who do it well: Santorini Zen Spa is our wellness partner. Tell the front desk and we will help you arrange a treatment, the kind of thing that makes a slow day slower.

The Terrace

Outdoor seating for the hour the light turns gold. We are in the heart of Fira: five flat minutes to the caldera path, the cafes, the bus to anywhere on the island. Sit out, or walk out. Both are right.

A Day in the House

Therhythm, notaschedule.

“You don’t need to be anywhere. But if you are curious what the house does, here is the shape of the day.”

The front desk

  1. 07:00
    First swim

The pool lamps go off, the big doors open. Mountain tea in the hallway for anyone who wants it, self-serve, quietly.

  2. 08:00
    Breakfast begins

The courtyard fills slowly. Whatever the morning decides. No bell.

  3. 10:00
    Out to the pool

The outdoor loungers catch the late-morning sun. If you asked us to arrange Santorini Zen Spa, this is usually when they fit you in.

  4. 11:00
    Breakfast closes

Whatever is left gets wrapped for the walk: fig bread, a piece of graviera, a little pot of honey.

  5. 13:00
    The town is quiet

Cruise ships have docked, shops have thinned. The best two hours to walk the caldera without company.

  6. 16:00
    The town thins again

The cruise crowds drift back to the port. A good hour for the shops on the main street, the second pool, or nothing at all.

  7. 18:30
    The sunset walk

Five minutes up Agiou Mina, turn right at the blue gate. We draw the map on the back of a receipt if you ask.

  8. 20:00
    Dinner is in town

We don’t run a kitchen at night, but we know where to send you. Ask at reception and we’ll book the table and draw you the way.

  9. 22:00
    The last swim

The pool closes, the lamps return. A robe on the hook by the door if yours is upstairs.
